The New Nomos Sport Collection
I’m particularly excited for these new “Sport” Neomatiks. They feature new, sportier dials, their latest Neomatik Update movement (DUW 6101) with a very unique date mechanism, and their recently released bracelet. I especially love the new Club Sport (ref. 781).
Here are the first two new Sports, the Tangente variety. Obvious styling changes aside, it’s also worth noting that these are rated for 1000 feet (about 300 meters). Both of these are 42mm and cost $4,980.
But my favorite, by far, is the Club Sport Neomatik. I think it looks fantastic, perhaps because unlike the dressy Tangente, the Club was always designed to be the sportier, more casual watch. It’s much more affordable as well, at $4,060.
The New Nomos Duo Collection
In an apparent attempt to create whiplash, going from the very sporty to the ultra-dressy, Nomos just released their new Duo collection, a group of four extremely German, extremely tasteful, dress watches. With the exception of the 27mm Tetra, the rest are 33mm, making it ideal for ladies or those with smaller wrists. Prices are impressively affordable, ranging from $1,380 to $1,660.
